random bibliography observation
It’s been a very enlightening last few days as I wrapped up this website.
Seems I’ve written a LOT of books, and by books I mean stories, whether novel length or novella or even shorter. I’ve forgotten character names from several, whole plots from others.
I did run across and remember one with a true Romancing the Stone ending. It has one of my favorite secondary romances ever, between Hector Prieto and Angie Soon. Sigh.
Anyhow, my count shows this:
- 5 books in my Hope Springs series
- 4 books in my Dalton Gang series
- 12 books in my Smithson Group series
- 20 Harlequin series romances
- 10 other romances
- 2 nonfiction books
- 3 online reads
- 1 procedural thriller
That’s FIFTY-SEVEN published books! And I only completed one additional manuscript before I made my first sale. That one is nowhere to be found. I know. I recently looked. No hard copy. No floppy disk. Because that’s how long ago I wrote it.
Then there’s Icefall which the hubs and I co-wrote, which is finished, though not yet published, so if I count that one, then FIFTY-EIGHT!
